Description:

Travel, explore and live without limits!

Inkilltambo, a little known gem located in Cusco within the Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park, is an intriguing site. Located on the Inca road network, known as Qhapaq Ñan, this place offers a unique experience. The name «Inkilltambo», derived from Quechua meaning «flowery garden», suggests an exuberant and vibrant natural environment.

During the exploration of Inkilltambo, numerous Andean temples were discovered where ceremonial rituals were performed. This site, part of the ancient Inca Empire, was interconnected by a vast network of roads that stretched for more than 30,000 kilometers. In particular, Inkilltambo marks the end of the Antisuyo section, one of the four regions of the empire that connected the Amazon with the center of the empire, culminating in the parade ground of Cusco, the ancient imperial capital.

Despite its relative lack of notoriety, this destination offers a fascinating experience. In addition to its historical importance, Inkilltambo features impressive agricultural terraces, bodies of water and a variety of natural features that reveal the skill and engineering of the ancient Incas.
