SACRED VALLEY VIP WITH CONNECTION TO MACHU PICCHU – 2 DAYS

Cusco - Sacred Valley - Aguas Calientes

The tour begins with pick up from your hotel in Cusco. On our way to Ollantaytambo, we will visit the five famous sites of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Our first stop will be Chinchero, a place where handicraft traditions have been preserved. During the Inca civilization, Chinchero was a summer palace for the Incas. After the Spanish conquest, the conquistadors demolished the palace and built a church over its ruins.

Next, we will visit Maras, known for its salt terraces, where ancestral methods are used for salt extraction.

The next stop will be Moray, an ancient agricultural laboratory. The Incas used these circular cultivation terraces with different temperatures to experiment with the growing conditions of crops.

Afterwards, we will have a lunch break in Urubamba.

Finally, we will visit Ollantaytambo, a charming town that was the administrative capital of the Incas. After a guided tour, we will board the train to Aguas Calientes.

The trip from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes takes approximately two hours. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our representative will meet you at the train station and transfer you to the hotel. That evening, a local guide will meet you to brief you on the next day's itinerary.

Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco

At the indicated time, we will pick you up at your hotel and travel by bus to the main entrance of the citadel of Machu Picchu.

Once inside, you will receive a complete two-hour guided tour. During this tour, you will visit the House of the Guardian, the Temple of the Sun, the Three Windows, the Intihuatana, Aclla Huasi, the Temple of the Condor and the Water Fountains. After the tour, you will have time to explore the citadel on your own.

At the designated time, you will board the train at the Aguas Calientes station to return to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our representative will pick you up and transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco.
