CLASSIC SACRED VALLEY WITH CONNECTION TO MACHU PICCHU – 2 DAYS

Cusco - Sacred Valley of the Incas - Aguas Calientes

We will start the tour by picking you up from your hotel in Cusco to start the trip to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. During the day, we will visit the typical market of Pisac, where you can appreciate the famous handicraft fair, and explore the archaeological complex of Pisac, known for its picturesque terraces cultivated in the mountains.

Afterwards, we will head to the town of Urubamba for lunch, which is optional. Then, we will continue to the fortress of Ollantaytambo, where descendants of the Incas still live in the houses of that time, and we will also visit its handicraft market. Finally, we will transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night at the selected hotel.

Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco

On the second day, we will start the journey to Machu Picchu. After breakfast, we will go to the bus station to board the bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu. We will take a guided tour of approximately three hours, where you will visit the main points of interest of Machu Picchu. At the end of the tour, you will have free time to explore the site on your own.

Optionally, you can hike and climb the mountain of Machu Picchu or Huayna Picchu, with an additional cost. Then, we will descend from Machu Picchu to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we will board the train back to Cusco. Arrival in Cusco is estimated for the afternoon, concluding our excursion to the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu.
