HUMANTAY LAGOON

We will begin our experience before dawn, boarding our tourist transport, which will take us on a journey of approximately two hours to Mollepata, a charming village surrounded by breathtaking scenery, crossing towns like Poroy and Limatambo.

Upon arrival at Mollepata, located at 2,790 masl, we will enjoy an Andean breakfast with local flavors. Afterwards, we will head towards the Soraypampa camp, located at 3,910 masl. From this point, we will hike uphill for about an hour and a half until we reach the majestic Humantay Lagoon, located at 4,200 masl.

The Humantay Lagoon, of a crystalline turquoise color, is a natural spectacle that impresses its visitors. Here, you can enjoy the beauty of the surroundings and take pictures with the imposing Nevado Salkantay, which reaches an altitude of 5,450 meters above sea level, in the background.

For the return, we will descend towards Soraypampa, enjoying the panoramic views of the road to the Nevado de Salkantay, the second highest mountain in the Cusco region, with an altitude of 6,271 meters above sea level. Afterwards, we will enjoy lunch before boarding our transportation to return to the city of Cusco, where our adventure will conclude.
